In collaboration with Musicant Group and Hyde Development, ThreeSeven was tasked with creating a temporary outdoor space for the public to enjoy while injecting a bit of greenery into the concrete dominated landscape of Downtown Minneapolis’ North Loop. As opposed to many temporary structures of it’s kind that hide the construction under exterior cladding, The North Loop Parklet explored what a parklet could become when the facade is stripped away and the skeletal structure provides the visible aesthetic. Flowering morning glories juxtaposed the rigid form of the structure, softening the experience for its daily users and providing respite from the sun when fully grown.
